Creme Fraiche

1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon lemon juice


Mix ingredients together.
Cover and let sit at room temperature for 6 - 8 hours, then refrigerate.
When cooking, creme fraiche will not break down when heated which makes it a better alternative to sour cream.
